A 100% free service for Gt. Chishill's Senior Citizens, Disabled & Immune-Suppressed Residents
Tel: 01763 877 255
During the peak of the Coronavirus pandemic, taking care of our neighbours is essential. Looking out for one another ensures an even safer and happier village.
We are a small community-based organisation in Great Chishill focused on helping make our village an even better, happier place for all.
Live in Great Chishill, 70+ or disabled/immune-suppressed
and feel isolated?
Call us: 01763 877 255 or send us an email: firstname.lastname@example.org telling us your name, where you live and your phone number. We are on hand to to do your "contact free and cashless" shopping; walk your dog; pick up your prescription, post a letter, or just have a chat. #ViralKindness #GreatChishill
Are you passionate about helping your fellow villagers?
We are always looking for volunteers to help us make this service even better. Whether you can help with someone's shopping or taking their dog walk for a walk or picking up a prescription. We'll help you find a way to help that best suits you. We're excited to have you join the team.
Please take every precaution to ensure you are spreading only kindness. Avoid physical contact (2m distance), wash your hands regularly and use gloves when filling up your vehicle with fuel at the petrol pump.
We prefer card payments for your shopping to handling cash. This is for ease and because the virus might be present on bank notes and coins. We therefore accept contact less payments via VISA, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Shopping items will be left on your doorstep. Prescriptions, where possible, will be posted through letterboxes.
Thank you to those who have already offered their support. Whether you help through volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of fellow villagers like you.
